Julien Isoré is a French visual artist and painter, born in 1977, currently living and working in Vincennes. With an academic background in law and a specialization in sculpture at the Fine Arts School of Lisbon, his transdisciplinary practice merges art, law, biology, and the sociology of imagination. His work explores the living world as an artistic medium, challenging systems of value through a “painting of the invisibility” and creating installations, performances, and conceptual works. He is the originator of the Ready-Wild, a project that designates wild spaces as artworks in order to ensure their protection. Julien Isoré has exhibited in Europe, the United States, Mexico, China, and India. In 2025, he completed a Master’s degree in Visual Arts at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, where he developed Gracias, a 12-hectare forest artwork located on the Rancho Tehuan in the state of Morelos, Mexico.
